Charles Schwab Volunteer Week
 As part of Charles Schwab’s Volunteer Week, employees select volunteer sites, and we were excited to welcome 20 volunteers on a sunny day at the Skokie Lagoons. We were impressed with their enthusiasm and their significant progress in clearing invasive garlic mustard and buckthorn. Schwab also provided a generous donation to BYNC to further our mission, and we thank them for all their support! |

Let’s Play! Sandcastles and Seagulls
10:30 a.m. – noon
Gilson Park, Wilmette
BYNC will partner with Wilmette Park District to support creative, imaginative, and child-directed, outdoor free-play at this family event hosted by The Alliance for Early Childhood. Activities will include bird walks and nature play. Register here!

Beach Visit with Winnetka Kindergarteners
BYNC will lead activities with at least three classes on each day – two in the morning and one in the afternoon. Activities may include nature play, a nature hike, and journaling.

Fishing and Restoration with REACH

BYNC always looks forward to working with the Refugee Education & Adventure Challenge’s Summer Adventure Camp participants. We anticipate hosting groups at the Skokie Lagoons in July and August for fishing and nature restoration.

After opening its Wilmette store, Orvis selected BYNC as its nonprofit partner, and we are extremely grateful for their support!
